“Farewell, Easy Street”

Easy Street Records Queen Anne location is closing this Friday. If this was just another record store closing in the digital era, I would say, ‘well that’s the way it goes for physical media,’ but it surely is not just another vinyl shop. This is a store that celebrates weekly music releases with vibrant, hand-painted murals of album covers on the side of the building and hosts free in-store performances by musicians who will sign copies of their record afterword. You come to buy a new album and leave with a story to tell.
